    Rockstar Cooler for fermentation????

    I just aquired a FREE large rockstar round electric cooler that is able to hold a 5 gal bucket or carboy for cooling my brew to lager temps. Any one used this before? If so did it work or was it to cold?

    Frozen Garden Hose

    So I am going to brew on Saturday and today I had to leave my garden hose inside to thaw. Last brew day the hose was frozen and I was not able to chill the brew and pitch till next day. Any other great cold brew stories?

    Dry Hop VS. Flame Out

    I have have multiple beers that have been dry hopped lately. They all seem to lose the great flavor and aroma within 2 weeks. So the question is if I add alot of hops at flame out instead or dry hop will that help???

    Dry hops to bitter/finish hops?

    I have some cascade and galena dry hopping some APA. Can I then take the hops and use them in a boil, as bitter or finish hops? Has anyone tried this before or if so any luck?

    Broken Hydro

    Carmel 120L

    I have a lead on caramel/crystal 120L and want to know if I can substitute some of that for my Amber recipe. The amber calls for crystal 10, 20, and 40 but I should be able to just use less of the 120 for all, correct? If so should I just run it thru promash till it looks good?

    Problems

    One of my second year hop plants had the leading head eaten? After that the plant started to bush at 2 feet? I tried to take a new head to the twine but after 2 weeks there seems to be no new height. Any ideas on how to get this growing up???

    No Boil Time

    Problems with OG

    I am having problems with hitting the OG. I am brewing an amber ale. The projected OG is 1.046 and after the brew I got an 1.030? I was at 152 to 145 for the mash and after that followed all the proper steps. Any ideas for why the OG was so low????????/ Any ideas would be great.

    Dry Hopping

    I recently dry hopped a Lite Ale extract. At first the flavor was nice and mellow but not carbed after a week or two. Now after 3+ weeks the carb is still little but the flavor is very strong. Will the flavor mellow out after more time?
