    120/240v DIY PID Controller Help

I would think the gains would be minimal especially when compared to the 5500, but I haven't any experience with either of the lower wattages. I mean if you're just out to have a good time with friends with the 120...the way I see it less wattage = more fun lol.

    120/240v DIY PID Controller Help

Why not make a dedicated 240v and keep the clawhammer as a portable option and just swap out the element?

How long does it take to keg

I ferment in the keg, makes kegging easy ;)

Nukatap Mini wall mount installation and leaking.

Yes I agree, easy to install and zero rotation. I wouldn't risk a counter bore personally, but I've also failed to use any locking clips. I'm sure I won't be the only one who faces this issue. I installed it correctly to the instruction on keglands website and by Kee's direction in their video...

Nukatap Mini wall mount installation and leaking.

Yes this appears to be the proper solution to bad instruction and a failure to test final assembly.

Nukatap Mini wall mount installation and leaking.

I'm starting this thread to determine and track either what I did wrong or what is wrong. Hopefully helping others in the future to not do what I did or find a solution. Can reference this post for context. I was installing endless soda water through a mini nukatap and issues arose where it...

    Oops. Keezer filled with water.

I've discovered the issue. The carbonated water line goes to a nukatap mini faucet and wall mount. It was leaking out of the back of the nukatap. Also dumped the co2 tank. The mount for the mini nukatap is flush with the release/locking clip and the clip must extend past the mount in order to...

    Oops. Keezer filled with water.

Ah I see, haven't had issues until now. It's tough to pull the trigger on plastic clips that seem very overpriced. Worth the assurance I'd suppose.

    Oops. Keezer filled with water.

I believe that's for the co2, however I'm sure I boofed up a connection somewhere.

    Oops. Keezer filled with water.

Keezer's full boys!!! Not sure if you can tell but this keezer is full of water. Installed the kegland continuous carbonator lid last evening. Seemed fine for the 6 hours or so before bed with no leakage (that I could tell) and even a hint of carbonation out the tap. Line goes from source...

    How do you buy grain?

Thanks, have been thinking about picking golden promise up. Although I was unaware it was irradiated. Tbh I was unaware any plants were. I thought gmo plants were brought to life with bacteria DNA insertion. I'm hardly knowledgeable of the matter tho.

    How do you buy grain?

The LHBS will special order things along with a great price. I feel like im bothering them if I ask for too much variety as it's essentially a dusty corner in a large liquor store. I've got 2row brewers malt in bulk, have another recommendation?

    How do you buy grain?

Yeah I've been brewing as the kegs thin. Dumping a bag of pre weighed/proportioned grain into the crusher seems appealing, but having bulk variety offers foresight ease.

    How do you buy grain?

Do you buy in bulk and build as you go, or do you build a recipe and have it delivered? Debating buying a bunch of popular grain and grain from recipes I enjoy, or only buying the grain I need for a recipe less base grain. I did a bit of the former and now I have a collection of what I would...

    Restarting Fermentation?

I brewed up "Cream of Three Crops" with 1.044 OG and pitched with US-05. I ferment in cornies and spund at 10psi in my living room. Room is typically at 75F but is now at 68F due to weather and I didn't account for this. Well 6 days pass and I'm at 1.014. Brewfather is calling for 1.009 FG. I...

    Anybody ever use barhelper?

Barhelper seems like a fairly powerful and nice program along with external integration and a tap display. Just curious if anybody uses it or has any experience. Had trouble creating ontap TV but it seems to have just been updated! Will mess around with it a bit more.
