Wort chiller for 15 gal Megapot

I need a wort chiller for my 15 gallon Megapot. I plan on doing 5-8 gallon batches. Do I need a 25' or 50' copper chiller. Since 5 gallons is so low in volume, I wonder if 25' would be sufficient. I like to brew dark beers. Any suggestions?

    Brew kettle size for BIAB

Thank you for the reply. So your saying the temps do not drop that much in a blanketed kettle. So I guess that would kind of make the cooler thing really unnecessary. I just figured metal kettle = a lot of heat loss. So I think my purchase of the 15 gallon kettle was the right choice for medium...

    Brew kettle size for BIAB

I guess I'm a bit confused. If doing BIAB you mash in your kettle. It seems like keeping the temp consistent for 60/90 minutes would be a challenge in a kettle. So I read to blanket your kettle off. One the other hand, using a cooler seems more efficient than a kettle for mashing. So if using a...

    Brew kettle size for BIAB

I'm completely new to this. I've been making extracts for several years. Wanting to get into BIAB, I researched kettle sizes and was torn between the 10 and 15. I ended up buying the a 15 gallon. It came in last week and this thing seems pretty damn big for the 5 gallon batches I plan to make...
