To be clear swamp, you've brewed a batch of this recipe using a diff yeast strain? How did it turn out?

I like the yeast suggestion for taste change but I think the dextrine malt is what you would use to change the body characteristics, correct?

I racked this beer to the sec over the weekend. This was my second a/g and I believe one of my finest brews yet (albeit the 2nd a/g). I only had 4.5gal in the primary after the boil, and I didnt top off. OG 1.052, finished at 1.006. It tasted great out of the hydro tube and will only get better.

Damn, sorry to hear about the injury. I blew out an MCL too about 20 years ago. Happy to say Im still playing and still brewing. Hang in there and Im sure youll be back on the ice soon in the meantime maybe youll have to brew up some championship ale for your triumphant return to the ice!
