Possible taste of sulphur and debugging what went wrong in witbier.

Yes, dland, given he had such a off recipe for what he wants, he still implied he has an off taste vs what he has brewed before, we all know how much lagering actually does to a beer. But he still is just on a completely different branch from what he wanted to make to begin with :) like shagging...

    What are you drinking now?

So many beautiful pictures.. haha, love the 8 bit graphics :D Like playing Neuromancer all over again (which I do every 5-10 years :p)

The recipe you use is just totally off. There is no such thing as using orange peels in Belgische witte bieren! I see from the recipe you're Norwegian? Let me ask you: -What do you expect to happen from a beer you chuck a lot of orange peels and apricot puree into? That recipe is bogus but...

    What are you drinking now?

Darn.. 3.9%. When I lived in South America , the beers weree 0.7l! and 3.5%! (omg), although for good reasons I suppose. Heat. If doing the standard European at least way of 5%@0.5l it would lead to... erm.. binge drinking.. wait, what? lol, which is of course what we do when we are young in...

    What are you drinking now?

Damn, those look great indeed! :D I am drinking my Belgian Witte 6.5% abv atm, still a bit too green though but that's me. it's about a 50/50 hit n miss when it comes to seeing them out before they go. I really, really honour all you beer drinkers who wait long enough to get drunk ,p haha, just...

    Hoegaarden clone taste water

Forgot to add, the 'orange taste' is just bitterness, in a special way (some flavours sure but it doesn't stand out as a singular flavour imo). It's an alternative to hopping, just like erm, Myrica gale used to be in Scandinavia. The Hanseaters fooled the scandis into believing it was poisonous...

    A few of worries, witbier

I could rant like hell regarding home brewer's use of sanitisers but I will leave that for another time. I don't know MJ yeasts whatsoever, but I presume it's pof+ since it's a wheat ale yeast... Thus yes, you might get more of a banana flavour on higher temps (28 is too much though imo, 24-26...

    Hoegaarden clone taste water

Don't overdo coriander, make sure you stick to what recipes generally state, and yes, imo, 7g in the boil is just pointless. One needs 1 g/l. so 25g should do it. crushing it is a good thing I'd surmise. Also, I often throw a bit pepper into mine, but this is purely just me doing it on a whim...
