    Won’t hurt it. If any sugar is left it will finish it faster. At this point you definitely do not have to worry about the temp getting into the 70s

    I did with that yeast and it turned out fine. I did get pitching temp in the mid 60s in a keg so it held that temp until fermentation kicked off.

    Can’t remember been 2 years when I was working with a small kettle. I think I aimed for 1.050 in carboy 1 and added water to hit about 1.035 in the other or something like that. A 5% and 3.5% if I remember correctly

    To follow up I even did it as a parti-gyle cheat. I split into 2 small car boys and added water to one to get an ordinary bitter in one and stronger bitter in the other.

    I used to do it a lot. I just upped my IBUs and it turned out fine. Kettle space was my issue

    A Dunkel and Dunkelweizen are different beers. The commercial one is a dunkel lager. Dunkelweizen is a wheat beer
