    Conditioning: Cold or Room Temp?

    I vote'd room temp becouse i dont have a chiller for my beer keg's. So I just room condition for one week then put it down the celler that stays at 12/13oC all year. If i do lager I just bottle it and keep one in the fridge in my kitchen for when I fancy one.

    Real dumb keg questions

    I agrea with orfy,king kegs cannot be used at the same high pressure as corny kegs. With my king kegs i just add 5 tbls of white sugar at keg filling time and leave a few weeks to clear and build pressure,top up with co2 as and when needed.

    Hello from the UK!

    Hi Aelfwyn, good luck with the mead brewing.never brewed it my self though. last week i had a "fullers organic honey dew" says it has honey in the recipe but puts it on the label as beer, i'm confused. is it mead when it's only made from honey? and beer if it's malt and honey?:confused:

    i'm having same problems with iregular carbonation in the bottle, so i was thinking of repitching with fresh yeast at the bottling stage, one that will settle to a firm sediment. just a thought but your not killing your yeast with verrrrry high alcohol levels are you :drunk:
