For Sale Several items: 5 sixtel Sanke Kegs, Monster Mill, Therminator, TapRite Regular, Kegging/dispensing system with regulator, manifold and Pluto guns

These were all used by me for homebrewing but have gotten out of the hobby for foreseeable future and these are good used condition working items hanging around taking up storage space I need. I listed them all on eBay: Security Measure.

    Definitely!

    Mystery ingredient in Duvel?

Having a little "Duvel Clone" right now. It LOOKS a lot like Duvel with the foamy head. Tastes good, but it's not Duvel. This is from Northern Brewer's all grain kit - "Belgian Strong Golden." I used 2 packs of BE-256 for 5 gallon batch. 1.079 -> 1.006 ABV 9.6%. It's quite enjoyable but not...

    Greetings from Navarre, FL

Welcome back! I thought my hiatus was long at 20 years. Big improvements I appreciated from the late '90s to now: BIAB, Star-San and all the equipment and ingredients available online. And this web site. Good luck have fun!

    Brewing happiness is...

Having friends come by to try the brew. And they say it's really good. After all, it's free beer, but you still believe them!

For Sale Two Sanke Sixtel kegs - free to a good home

I would totally take those but am not near you. These are about $108 new on Amazon, so you could probably sell easily on eBay but would have to deal with packing and shipping but I bet they would sell easy with buyer paying shipping.

Help!!! My brewery-bought keg is pouring undercarbed!!!

Weird that it was flat from the start. If it's now holding at 18-19 PSI should get carbonated in a few days. I'm assuming it's cold so 18-19 should be plenty. But this whole story also sounds like "leak somewhere." Check everything for leaks and if not, should be good (in a few days our so).

    I Am NOT a Fan Of Star-San

I had a 20 year hiatus from home brewing. Star-San and online supplies (especially with no LHBS for 100 miles) were the biggest improvements for me coming back. A stainless steel fermentor was good too. And BIAB. But I digress.

Beer may be good for your health!

"The final alcohol content usually ranges from 1.0% to 6.0%, depending on the type of beer." Count me out on that 1% beer. Because, ya know, definitely not enough tocopherols and stuff

    For the Dads

I ended up doing that too. Brewed from about 1994-1999 then picked up again in 2019.

    Brewing my 1st Dubbel

I've made that one too and liked it. I also made it with my own ingredients - cloned the clone using Pale malt and light brown sugar and it was still good. I used 2 packs of Abbaye Ale the first time I made it. One pack of T-58 the second - both were good. I tried to make it again weekend before...
