    In this video GT Kombucha puts pressed juice instead of sugar into first fermentation. Has anyone done this before? Does it work better than sugar?

    7 days, 2 gallons, 2 cups of organic sugar, 16 bags of black tea Scoby looks like this, not perfectly round and not fat like on YouTube, it's very thing like a peace of cloth

    After my first fermentation the drink taste like black tea. I'm doing 2nd fermentation right now with tart cherry Juice. Is this how it supposed to taste like after 1st fermentation?     We add sugar and black into the mix and it give vitamins and probiotics in return. Right? What if one puts BCAA's and Creatine and maybe some magnesium into the mix. What would happen?

    The 2 gallon jar was by the stove, and they left the gas on on low with out fire for all night. The entire house smelled like gas. Did the kombucha absorbed the gas?

    I just made kombucha juice on Monday night, and I woke up the next morning I saw they (my family) didn't turn off the gas and it was on all night (on low) Should I throw the kombucha away because it has been exposed to gas?
