Like. Lets say i made grape wine but then wanted to sweeten it up a bit by adding honey. Would this now be considered mead or would it still be wine?

And tbh, now that i think of it. I believe that this is EXACTLY the right forum for me and my "hooch" talk. I'm pretty sure i would have gotten plenty replies to my threads if i had just called it "wine" instead of hooch. I like the word hooch, so i'm sticking to it. As well as this forum.

Like why the hell does it matter what name i call it when its basically the same exact concept most everyone does for their first brew? Juice, sugar, yeast. Simple. Who cares if i call it, pruno, hooch, or just plain out wine. Does it make a difference at all on the process i go through to...

Just because someone feels like mixing yeast, juice, and sugar, and letting it sit for a few days to experiment does not mean someone is underage. Like why the hell would i waste so much money on a huge set up if i don't even know how the stuff will turn out? And just because i call the stuff...
