Morning guys,
has anybody used this dry yeast yet and what pitching rates did you use. I ask because Lallemand claim 1 billion cells per gram!! since my batch size is 50 litres thats a lot of packets. (got the 25 gram ones from geterbrewed.

This old chestnut i hear you groan!!
I washed my yeast after harvesting...usual method. I then syphoned off (very aseptic technique used) that lovely all creamy yeast layer in middle. Put it into vials in fridge a month ago and it has settled to about half of the tube. Two questions...
