I hear ya bud. I've been working busy I haven't been able to do anything brewing related since this batch. Ready to get another brew going though. Ready for this one to clear up lol.

Still... Bubbling lol. Very very very slowly, but it still is. I've learned patience though I suppose lol.

Well, I checked on it again, aaaaaand still bubbling... Slower, very slow, but still bubbling nonetheless. It's been 23 days now lol. Crazy. Definitely not used to seeing any signs of life past a week really. *I should clarify, not bubbles from the air lock but bubbles coming up the sides of...

FatDragon that's pretty awesome man! That does have a good krausen! Sweet!

Awesome! It's slowed down considerably. We're past the two week mark so it should be finishing up soon. The bubbles have slowed considerably.

Finally starting to slow down I think.

    Least favorite thing about Homebrewing?

Awesome! I didn't even think about that! Yeah, I've got a horrible habit of grabbing them from where I store them, throwing them in the fridge for just a bit and get ancy to drink one. Didn't even think about that. Thanks for the heads up 👍

What I did for beer today

Contacted my source for pint + 9oz bottles (urban chestnut bottles) and got the hook up Monday through Friday. (He said Saturday they'd be so busy they'd just be throwing them in the trash and not be able to save them) got to love wineries that have a homebrewer at heart [emoji106]🏻

Little gallon is still showing signs of fermentation... After 12 days... Wonder if it's ever going to settle down and stop bubbling lol

What I did for beer today

Think I found a place to get a good supply of pint bottles 👍

Will do mutedog and Jwin. [emoji106]🏻 It's still chugging along with the bubbles and throwing particles around. Albeit on a smaller scale but it still is. Crazy.

Cool cool. I'll do that then. I'm going to do the 22oz with the air stopper and just see what happens with it. Should be pretty cool I guess.

I definitely might throw some in a 22 and see what happens. That could be pretty cool! So, once this finishes up though, should it be relatively safe to bottle without fear of bottle bombs?

    Going Wild

I guess I could be. Honestly, I don't have any idea lol. I'm just going to keep letting it set, same with my 5 gallon batch of red till I'm ready to bottle. Probably another 2-3 weeks, as long as it's done bubbling of course and hydro readings are the same after a few days.
  16. Tactical-Brewer

    Going Wild

Yeah, I was thinking maybe that, but the only thing that gives me pause about the Brett or lacto is that it completely fermented out the first time, and then the second time when I built it up. First time I let it sit for about 3 weeks, then the step up set somewhere over a week but had finished...

    Going Wild

9 days into fermentation and a pretty significant amount of bubbles and activity going on inside the little one gallon sample of Irish red and my wild yeast off the hedge. The 5 gallon batch fermented with my Liberty ale strain is and has been done fermenting and has started to to clear out...

    Future upgrade decisions... Any help?

Hey, that's awesome! Yup, I'm thinking I'll be leaning towards concord! Thanks for the info guys!

    Least favorite thing about Homebrewing?

After a few batches under my belt and trying to dial everything in, I'd honestly have to say inconsistency. I haven't made the same batch twice, so I don't mean it in that sense (yet) but I lean inconsistency within the same batch. Some of it has been my own fault, as in I had some bottles I...

Hmm, I may have to give that a go. I'm always looking to do something for when I can't brew but be brewing related!
