What to do with a broken keg?

Thank you! I will order one of these and see if I can find a shop to do this.

What to do with a broken keg?

Thought about that. Using a SSbrewtech BM Chonical now though. Someone could probably weld it, but it'll probably cost more than it is worth.

What to do with a broken keg?

I was doing a full breakdown of my keg to clean it when the gas post got stuck. It would not screw on or off. I put too much torque on it and ripped the post out. What can I do with this keg? Is it just trash, can it be fixed, or is there another is for it?

What came in the mail for you today?

Have the same for my 7 gallon Brewmaster Edition. It is great, however I need to figure out a better cold water supply. Ice chunks in a cooler gets old quickly. Heater is great to gently warm and help the brew finish clean.

What came in the mail for you today?

7 Gallon Brew Master Edition Chronicle with Heating and Cooling FTSS. Just need to clean and passivate it, then it will be ready to go. This thing looks even better in person. :ban: I fixed the dump valve orientation after I took the pic.

Hi RM-MN, I mashed at 152F at the beginning, ended just over 151.0F. Mash time was 1 hour, however, I had an issue with my SS braid (cooler batch sparge). It actually fell off of my drain tube during the mash. I guess I didn't tighten the clamp we enough. After the 1 hour rest I had to...

First AG, 11 Day Post Pitch Gravity

Glad to hear I am not alone. Going to dry hop soon. I hit the target mash temp within a few tenths and lost only a degree over the hour. 153 was target I think.

First AG, 11 Day Post Pitch Gravity

So I brewed my first AG (NB's Dead Ringer) on 2/20. It came out very close to target at 1.061. I just pulled a sample 11 days after pitching and am reading 1.008. In my extract brewing history, I never got below 1.014 for an FG. Is getting a reading of 1.008 on this beer normal? Is it a...

First AG, Please Check My Water Profile

11 pounds Rahr 2 row. 1 pound Briess Carmel 40. This was put in to the spreadsheet as well. More concerned about the ion ratios.

First AG, Please Check My Water Profile

Hello all, Been lurking for a while, this is my first real post. Been brewing for about a year and a half (10 extract batches). I am about to do my first AG batch using the Denny Brew batch sparge cooler set up. The brew I am doing is NB's Dead Ringer, pre-crushed as I don't have a mill...
