Danstar London ESB Dry Ale Yeast - Anyone use it yet?

I have high hopes for it myself. I am genuinely surprised that us Canucks are getting this before our American neighbours. I will let you know how it turns out!

Danstar London ESB Dry Ale Yeast - Anyone use it yet?

I ordered the 11g packs from OntarioBeerKegs. They announced it on their Facebook page and I thought I would give it a go. Figured you folk south of the border would have had it before us for sure. http://www.ontariobeerkegs.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=lallemand-london-ESB

    Hello from British Columbia

He nice hop garden there! But the look of the photos I would say you are in the interior somewhere. Greetings from the Sunshine Coast. I see you deal with Hopdawgs a lot. How are they? I have been ordering from OBK. Looks like you got yourself a nice setup there. I am pretty new here myself but...

Is Guinness the most overrated beer...ever?

I like Guinness. Not all the time but sometimes. It's especially good when consumed in Ireland or at least in England. In a small pub that is a hundred or more years old. Guinness is pretty good but the history behind it makes it better I think. As my father always said, beer is best consumed...

I used a bunch of citra dry hopping once in an IPA and it turned out great. Maybe I will put some in dry as well.

Cool! Thanks for that. I had a single hop galaxy hop beer that I quite liked. I will make something based off this.

1 Pound of Galaxy and 1 Pound of Crystal - What to do?

My sister gave me a pound of Galaxy and a pound of Crystal hops. I love hoppy IPA's. Can someone suggest a recipe? I am too new at brewing to really try and wing it myself just yet. :mug:

Is it the burner or the tank?

^^ Ya. This makes sense. Also found this and it explains the last part of my idea better. This is off a gas grill website but it is what I was trying to explain. "The regulator on a gas grill the piece that is screwed onto the propane tank to regulate the flow of gas. It contains a safety...

Is it the burner or the tank?

I am totally guessing here but it sounds like something in the tank is out of spec and the design of the tank valve on the burner is not opening the safety valve on the tank. Once upon a time if you opened a propane valve, propane just sprayed out. Now they use something that prevents this...

    Help!! BURNER

I don't have a KAB4 but I am sure it would be fine. The KAB6 I have is probably overkill.

    Help!! BURNER

I have the KAB6. It is a beast. It heats my 20 gallon pot up very quickly. It can really chew through gas if you crank it though. No way you can run it at full for a boil. It would probably hold a full 45 gallon drum if you wanted. It is very very hot, very very strong, pretty cheap. But darn...

    Input from BIABers

I have been BIAB from the start but actually have just ordered the gear to make a cooler mash tun. Like BIAB well enough but just thought I would give it a try. But I like fooling with stuff.
