    Isn't Lysol considered sanitization though? My guess is they don't spray down an operating room with Star San.

    If I clean the kitchen counter with Lysol is it still necessary to apply Star San before sanitizing brewing equipment? I will spray the siphon, tubing, air lock, etc. with Star San of course. Just wondering- is spraying the counter with Star San overkill if Lysol has already been applied?
