    First AG or last PM?

Its going to depend on how much sparge water you use. I would plan on losing a gallon of water to grain absorbtion and 1-1.5 gallons in your boil.

12 brew - 1st AG Wheat - My whole house stinks!!!

I've recently brewed with that yeast and it wreaked. The beer, however, turned out quite well.

    Round or Rectangular

The manifold serves the same purpose as a false bottom. It allows you to collect the wort without collecting grains/husks/etc.....

    First time tasting

I would drink some now, take some notes, and then let the rest sit for a couple of weeks. Now you can compare the current beer to your notes. I find that my beers tend to mellow a bit with some cold conditioning. (all the flavors mingle) Just my 2 cents

    3 tier gravity setup

The height of the brew pot is perfect. You just put your carboy on the ground level and then connect a hose to your output. As long as the end of the hose is lower then the bottom of your pot, the siphon will drain it all out. I will post some more pics soon.

here are some pics of the stand. It has 3 burners and custom made rings that perfectly hole keggles (converted kegs). It is on castors (2 of which are locking) and there is a ring that fits the propane tank. His production ones will be a little smaller in height and will fold down for easy...

    Basic All Grain System

Ok, don't be afraid. All grain is not all that difficult once you have got the hang of it. I follow a general rule of 1 quart of water per lb of grain for mashing. Lets say you had 10 lbs of grain, you would then need 10 quarts of water to mash. There are 4 quarts in one gallon so 10/4 = 2.5...

Secondary Fermenter - what to buy?

my vote is for glass. I use glass for both primary and secondary. I like to watch the yeast do its thing.
