    Back sweetening question.

    I was thinking about ways to back sweeten and thought of using FAJC and vodka to sterilize it. Anyway I was wondering if anyone here has tried this and if it would work? Either this or another way to back sweeten.

    Perfect Mead recipe?

    Just wondering if anyone out there has a Mead recipe where it comes out a little sweet but still a little dry? My usual recipe calls for 14 lbs for a 5 gallon batch. Before I make any more I was just wondering if anyone had a reliable recipe.

    Carbonating bottles

    So I just attempted carbonating some bottles and opened one last night at a party and the top flew off when I opened it. It really seems like it was too carbonated. Is there any advice on carbonating bottles just right?

    Hopped cider

    So I'm making 5 gallons of hopped cider and was wondering if anyone here has done this before.     There is probably a better place for this but couldn't find where. Anyway does anyone recognise this company's logo? It looks like a man drinking a glass of wine. My parents bought these back about six years ago and now that I'm on my own I wanted to get some for myself.

    Watered down mead

    So I've realized recently that my meads that I have been making taste a little watery. Like it were watered down. I make my meads with 14lbs of honey and top them off to 5 gallons. It seems like they should have a stronger flavour. Am I doing something wrong?

    So a good friend of mine really likes scotch and the smokiness of it. I was wondering if anyone here knew of a good recipe for a good smoked mead. I'm looking for something that doesn't require me to add liquid smoke. I'm looking for more of a smoked peaty thing.

    So I'm looking to make a braggot the only issue is that I don't have a baseline to know how it will turn out. So my question is if anyone out there knows of a good commercial braggot help a mate out and respond to this thread with as much information on the braggot you are recommending.

    weird question here

    So I'm aware there is no way of really knowing this but, what if black briar mead was real what would it taste like and what would the recipe be? So people put your 2 cents in and make up recipes that come to mind when playing skyrim or when you think about what black briar mead might taste like.
