Anyone try making coffee Mead? Just came to mind. If anyone has made this let me know how it turned out. I was just thinking of adding coffee beans like you would fruit.

I am totally adding a couple beans to one of my bottles this weekend, got a joam that is ready.

I've made coffee wine before but not a coffee mead. What I did was make a gallon of good coffee and then added sugar to raise the gravity to about 1.090.
The wine is now about two years old and only now have the flavors mellowed enough for it to be drinkable. My point: I am not really sure that adding a couple of beans will do anything but perhaps adding enough beans to make the volume of liquor with which you want to dilute the honey may be effective...
