    Stuck Oktoberfest at 1.030....opinions needed

So my Okto has been sitting at 50 degrees for a little over 3 weeks now. 1 weeks ago the SG was 1.030. Today it's the same. There is activity in the airlock - about a bubble every 10-15 seconds. However, the gravity is unchanged. So what would you do? I'm inclined to rack out of this...

Is there 1 person in the world who's excited about this movie? What happened to Mike Myers?

    oversized O-Ring

Anyone know where to buy the "oversized" O-Rings for corny keg lids? I bought some a couple years ago; they are thicker and somewhat softer and make sealing old kegs easier. Mine are shelled. I can't remember where I bought them from. Thanks in advance.

    High-end beer dispenser/fridge?

We're finishing our basement in the new house here soon. We are installing a stone wet-bar area and I'm looking for a high-end fridge/dispensing unit. So far, I've come up with this, at about $2000, it's in our price range...

    Venting about FG

Don't know what it is lately. My last 3 beers have all finished high. Wheat only to 1.016; expected 1.012 Southern Brown ale to 1.020; expected 1.012 Oktoberfest at 2 weeks from 1.060 to only 1.040 at 48 degrees. Just venting. They'll taste OK, maybe a bit sweet though.

    Boy Scouts hit with Tornado

About 40 minutes North of Omaha here, a Boy Scout camp was hit by a tornado. Estimates are 30-40 injured and 4 dead. Some prayers might help, if that's your thing. Tornadoes all over the place tonight around here.

    Secondary Vessel for Lagering

Hey folks, simple lagering question here. Over the last few years, I've done away with a secondary vessel for lagering. I simply transfer the beer to a keg after the diacetyl rest and proceed to lagering temps. When the lagering is done, I simply serve from the keg. No secondary. I find...

    Cool Ass Glassware

Anyone have a good source for European type glassware. You know the kind....the high end stuff with gold/silver rings around the top. Pils, Hefes, flutes, etc; marked in Liters usually and sometimes are unique to different breweries. Time to upgrade from the pint glasses I've been using too...

    Wind. Freaking Wind!

So, I recently moved to Omaha, NE. Seems we have ALOT of wind here, so much that my flame blew out 3 times before I set up a pathetic wind screen built from drywall I had sitting around. Needless to say, the entire brew day was screwed because of the wind. Bringing water up to temps took...

    Freaking Assassins Creed PS3

Been playing it off and on for 2 months when I have free time. I get to the midpoint of the game...or so I think....when I find out some hidden truths...and then..bam!....end of game. What a joke. One of the first times I remember getting a game on PS2/Xbox/PS3 that just wasn't worth...

    O2 before the ferment

Do you inject O2 via artificial means for the ferment. I never have....now wondering if I should. I guess I've been happy with my beers to date. Of course, I'm always looking for ways to improve. I usually let the cooled wort free fall into the carboy and have figured that gave me the...
