Beer seems to be carbonated after 1 week what to do

It's probably poison. Box it up, send it to me and I'll dispose of it for you😏 Hold my beer and watch this!

    I'm loving this stuff!

You don't like crawfish? What's wrong with you? Jk, I know it's a Louisiana thing. I will say that most people who don't like them have never had them cooked right. I'd rather have crawfish than I would a lobster. A Louisiana brewery, Bayou Teche, made a crawfish beer last year. It didn't have...

    I'm loving this stuff!

I started brewing about 2 months ago and I'm hooked. I jumped in feet first with a 5gal batch of applewood smoked Dunkelweizen I called Sumpfwasser, German for swamp water (I am in Louisiana😃). It turned out awesome! A cool glass of it with a plate of applewood smoked wild boar was...

    25 foods you can grill

I'm from Louisiana, we'll grill or bbq damn near anything that'll hold still long enough. I love any grilled or bbq meat, seafood & most veggies. There's not much better than a 100lb wild hog cooked whole all day.

One food you have never had... but are curious

Or as we call em swamp chickens or poule d'eau. They make damn good gumbo & the gizzards are great in dirty rice. As far as the fermented shark, I'd try it. It's not poisonous. A few things came to mind that I'd like to try. Osetra caviar, smoked sturgeon, most African plains game, Sandhill...

Squirrel gumbo or sauce piquant is one of my favorite meals.

One food you have never had... but are curious

I'm a Louisiana boy, so I'm not picky. We'll make a feast out of something we caught in a ditch on the side of the highway. There are a few foods I'd like to try. Morels, Kobe beef and a few others. As far as "exotic" foods, I've had rabbit, squirrel, beaver, coon, bear, several kinds of ducks &...

    Bourbon!!!!

I think Knob Creek is great. Bulliet is pretty good, but I usually like bourbon over 100 proof, even for sipping straight.

    Bourbon!!!!

It may be the Louisiana redneck in me, but my go to is Wild Turkey 101. This may borderline illegal but a bourbon & coke made with George C. Stagg & a Mexican coke is probably the best mixed drink I've ever had.

Louisiana boy trying to brew some good beer

Some of them have no taste receptors, I think most are confused. My goto beers to introduce people to something decent are Shiner Bock & Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan. After that I'll hand them a good hefeweizen. It's not hard to convert most people.

Louisiana boy trying to brew some good beer

I forgot to say that I started this batch when my daughter was about 3 or 4 days old. I plan to hang on to at least 1 pint until her 1st birthday and see how it tastes.

Louisiana boy trying to brew some good beer

Obviously I'm here because I like beer (drinking beer is one of my favorite sports!). I decided to try brewing and I love it! My 1st batch was an applewood smoked Dunkelweizen. I used 1lb of crystal malt, 1lb of Perla Negra, 2 containers of Bavarian liquid malt extract and 1oz of Hersbrucker hop...
