I wish I had thought of this instead of mounting unistrut to the ceiling with a roller and pulley in it to remove fermented beer from my chest freezer. Set it on a counter. Siphon to keg and use the same pulley to put the keg into my keezer. I say go for it. :ghostly::bravo:

+2 I have quite a few beers on tap at any one time and have never had one oxidize. Some have actually been kegged a year before.

Have 3 cases (72 bottles) of green Stella bottles free to a good home. Louisville KY. All are clean and all but 8 are de-labeled.

Why not just pressurize the system (hoses, disconnects,gauges, etc.) then close the valve on the co2 tank. Pressure will drop pretty quickly on such a small amount of volume. No tanks involved. That's how I tested mine originally.

Pull the five screws holding the vent plate on and take a look. Doesn't look like anything but a knock out slug for letting something like a cord come out if wanted. Could be wrong but remove the panel and see. HTH

If I am reading your post correctly, you have a valve on the regulator that stops the gas from going to your kegs. If this is correct, close the valve going to the kegs. Open the valve on the co2 tank and set the regulator to most any psi then close the valve on the co2 tank. This will check...
