Planning on an APA Sunday and using some of my homegrown Cascade. 7 below tonight and cold tomorrow...really like brewing on a cold winter day!!

I bough 2 new galvanized garbage cans and put one inside the other with a hot plate from salvation army. Then put a grill rack near the top of the smaller can. Let smoke out and regulate heat by putting the lid off just a little. Galvanized metal won't be a problem from all I have read...

Only my second time for making apple wine and did not notice this with first.. Had wine in primary for about 3 weeks and went to secondary and now there about 2 weeks. It is clearing nicely and nothing on the surface. BUT>>>it has very small bubbles rising that remind me of carbonated...
