    In fermenter for a week and two days, no sample taken yet because it hasent cleared up. Still smells like good beer though....

    Took reading this morning. Og was 1.060 and reading this morning was was 1.020 and looks like fermentation is done....we will see how it turns out...

    Ok I made a 5 gallon batch last friday, went on vacation saturday and got back home today to find my ac went out and it was 90 degrees in the house. My wifes first though " o no a/c" my first thought " o no my beer!" Used rehydrated muntons yeast, what should I do when beer temp gets back down...

    Ok guys I am 1 week into fermentation with my first beer I created. I used 6lbs pisen lme, 1 lb.pilsen dme. 1lb caramel 40l, 8 oz caramel 20l 1oz centennial full boil, 1oz cascade at 40 min and a capfull of ciriander at 40 min. I am going to dry hop .5 oz. Citra In secondary. Og was 1.060 today...

    Ok this is my third batch of beer, first two I made were awesome but this one I just racked to secondary and am trying "dry hopping" for the first time. It has been in primary for one week when I went to secondary it still looks like mud...and had alot more " trub" og was 1.060 gravity now is...

    Adding gelatin at bottling....

    Just wondering if anybody has added gelatin with priming sugar into bottling bucket at bottling time? Or is it best to add it when racking into secondary for clear beer? thanks,matt

    Great news, went to the brew store today to get a wine thief, also purchased a new lid for the term inter with an o- ring seal sanitized and put on ferminter now I can see airlock working awesome. It was leaking around the lid. Checked gravity is at 1.030 which is 4% right? Been in ferminter...
