What temperature would I expect to cool down to in a basement that is in the 80's with a fermenter that is jacketed and has a cooling coil with a properly sized glycol chiller?. My fermenter is a 18 gal. But most of my batches are in the 6 to 10 gallon range.

Survey, if someone offered to buy you a Glyco chiller what brand would you get?

I am brewing a red Irish ale this weekend that calls for 2 stage fermentation. At this point I do not have a second vessel to Xfer to. So is there a big issue leaving it it my spike conical the entire time? I will have the cooling coil to keep temps around 65 degrees the whole time. Thoughts?

Ok, have a spike cf30 mostly do 10 gal batches in it. Have the spike tc100 setup cooling coil , pump and insulated lines. Did a little experiment where I put a 5gal bucket full of water in my chest freezer, stuck the pump in and hooked it to the coil. freezer temp was set to 40 degrees. Last...
