Can I save a (slightly) infected cream ale?

I've got about four gallons of cream ale (the famous "cream of three crops" recipe) sitting in a keg that doesn't taste so great. It seems like it has developed a bit of an infection. I had it off the tap for about a month, and when I hooked it back up it was seriously overcarbonated. I've...

Newbie question: Do I really need to rack twice?

Okay, so I've brewed a lot of beer, but need to start making some wine to keep SWMBO happy. I've got this kit: http://www.winexpert.com/wine?brand%5B%5D=533&keywords=Australian%20Grenache%20Shiraz%20Mourv%C3%A8dre%20with%20Grape%20Skins&v=list&p=details And the instructions are basically...

KAB4 Burner won't light: Regulator broken?

About to brew with a mystery hop.

So, my mother in law has a giant hop plant that she has been growing for a couple of years. This year, it produced a pile of cones, so when they were looking pretty ripe last weekend, I went out and picked a bunch. Here is the result: They smell nice... Maybe I'm just being optimistic...

Can you put CO2 in a beer gas cylinder?

My buddy has a large beer gas cylinder that he wants to get rid of. Does anybody know if recharge centres will generally fill them with CO2? Also, anybody know if a standard CO2 regulator will work on a beer gas cylinder? Thanks!

    WB-06 Hefe going very slow

I made an extract Hefewiezen, using a recipe from "Brewing Classic Styles". They recommended a fermentation temperature of 62 F for a couple strains of Wyeast and White Labs yeasts. I had dry Fermentis WB-06, so I thought, why not try that at 62? It's well within the recommended temperatures...
