Out of curiosity, what is your ratio of batches to years brewing?

My estimate would be pretty close to 20. I usually brew twice a month, but that doesn't always work out.

    help with kegerator foamy beer

Like I said there is debate on the resistance of Bevlex ultra. I will say this though: I think I have pretty much the same numbers as you. I keep my kegerator a little warmer though (38) and keep my kegs around 10psi usually. I have 10ft of bevflex ultra on right now with a similar height as you...

    help with kegerator foamy beer

After a little more research it seems people think the resistance is anywhere from 0.7 - 2.2. I'd recommend going with something in the 0.7 - 1.1 range for your calculations. I have 10ft at 38 degrees in my kegerator right now and I wish I had longer lines. There's also multiple threads about...

What beer brewing item do you hoard?

I have probably over 1000 bottle caps from drinking commercial beers over the years. I was going to make something out of them, but they are just sitting in multiple boxes in my room currently. I also like to keep the bombers/cans/bottles of beers i really enjoyed...which has turned into a lot...

    help with kegerator foamy beer

There isn't a set line length. It depends on a lot of things, line diameter, line type, c02 pressure, temp, height to tap, etc. Try this link it should help. http://beersmith.com/blog/2011/07/14/keg-line-length-balancing-the-science-of-draft-beer/ Also, if you're using that bevflex ultra stuff...

How many freezers do you have?

I have one as a kegerator, one as a ferm chamber, one for food, and still have my dorm fridge hanging around down there.

    Tail of the Dragon Trip...Breweries?

Hey everyone, My friends and I are going down to ride the Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina, leaving from New Hampshire. Unsure of the exact route right now, but was wondering if anyone had some places to go that are on the way. We are probably going to stay in Knoxville, TN a night and...

Biggest Obstacle Stopping You from Going Pro?

Man I wish you lived in New Hampshire. I feel the exact same way. :mug: As for the market saturation thing, I'd agree that on a distribution level it is saturated and would be pretty difficult to start a brewery now and compete with Sierra Nevada or other large companies like that. However I...

Biggest Obstacle Stopping You from Going Pro?

I don't understand this "I don't wanna brew for anyone else" argument. One one hand I understand that you brew what you wanna drink. Totally fine with that. Why wouldn't other people buy that? I mean I'm assuming most of us are talking about small breweries here. Almost every small brewery I go...
