Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

My first high temp ferment with the ESP32 and the room temperature is 69f. Why is the fridge temperature capped at 86 degrees?? I was fermenting at beer constant temp 85, and the beer temp has fallen off. I adjusted it to 90 to compensate but it looks like that wont work either. I cant find...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Upgrade complete! I have a temp controlled fermentation chamber that I've built. It's insulated box with a window AC unit and a small ceramic heater in it. Fermentrack is controlling both units. In the picture you see an STC-1000 labeled Freezestat. The freezestat monitors the temperature...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I've got my Tilt going through a TiltBridge, and I like it better that way, you gain functionality, being able to send your data to Google Drive, and then being able to monitor it anywhere, especially on my phone! That has actually saved me some money. After having a few...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I noticed one other thing while I was assigning the sensors, it's picking up all of the TP-Link/Kasa Smart Switched in my house. Can Fermentrack control smart switches now?? That could simplify some wiring.. :)

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

OK, some new thoughts this morning and I think I have the network issue figured out now. Eero changes the mask when it adds subnets, so that everybody on multiple subnets can see everyone else. I haven't looked but I think the subnet mask that DHCP is handing out is similar to 255.255.252.0...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I'm not seeing any difference, which is too bad. I tried to move my Pi to 192.168.7.251 but that ended up making it silent (I couldnt connect to it at all). I added an ESP8266 to the mix, its sitting on my desk without any I/O connected, and the router gave it the address 192.168.7.63, and...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I've been running Fermentrack for many years successfully, and my installation was originally Brewpi with an Arduino controller. I've integrated an TiltBridge successfully, and for nearly ten years and sixty fermentations, everything has been running well, with the occasional Raspberry PI...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I've been running Fermentrack worry free for nearly four years and it's been pretty flawless, I'm running it on an old Brewpi installation of mine, Pi/Arduino combo with a Wemos D1 running my refer, the arduino running the fermenter chamber and a Tilt connected up too - It all works together...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

I'm also interested in this. If you are careful with the iSpindel when you power it up, you get crazy gravity readings. Maybe you can un-bind it to the fermenter, turn it on, and then re-bind it? It would be nice to be able to turn off the logging until the sensor has settled out. (I...

    Fermentrack integration with Brewers Friend??

I did but it put them all together, where I wanted some text between the pictures - not sure what I was doing wrong.

    Fermentrack integration with Brewers Friend??

Thank You - I'll be pushing data up to BF for the next month fairly consistently - If you need to use it for debugging.

    Fermentrack integration with Brewers Friend??

CONTINUED Now in Brewers Friend Session, under the fermentation tab, after it's been on and correctly set at 15 minute intervals for eight hours, I'm still only seeing the data I've put into Brewers Friend manually with sampling where I'd expect to see the data that has been pushed also...

    Fermentrack integration with Brewers Friend??

I set it to 15 minute intervals last night and still no change on the BF side. Let me go through the steps I took, maybe there's a mistake in there somewhere. I set up the Fermentrack side of things. (See attachment) Name = Brewers Friend Push Frequency = 15 minutes API Key as given from BF...

    Fermentrack integration with Brewers Friend??

I set things up on the Fermentrac side, is there any setup on the Brewers Friend side? I've asked the same question on the Brewers Friend website.

RIMs upgrade either slow or SCORCHED!! Please help

Not trying to be a smart alek, but I don't bother trying to bring my mash to 168. I'm just going to boil it anyhow, and that will denature most everything in it. I've don't it bother ways and haven't noticed a difference.
