    Picked these up Saturday

A group of us went to the AHA rally at Bell's in Kalamazoo last Saturday. We had a great time tasted a lot of great beer and stopped at Tiffany's party store on the way back to Indiana. Most of these are not available or can be hard to find in my area. List reads from right to left...

    What to do with rabbit?

Stopped by the butcher shop today and they had whole rabbits. I've never had rabbit and was thinking about grilling it whole. I've done whole chickens on the grill by cutting the back and flattening them out. Those of you that have had rabbit, what would be a good way to season it? Also...

    Rye malt or flaked rye?

I'm working on making a IPA recipe using rye. Some people use rye malt and some use flaked rye. I have both, which do I choose to use when and why? I'm leaning toward the flaked because I think I'll be under 15% but I'm not sure.

    My first AG brew day...pics.

For my jump into AG I decided to brew EdWort's Haus Pale Ale. It looked like a simple, straight forward recipe. I plugged the ingredients into BeerSmith and these are the results. Mashed in at my target temp. First batch sparge Second batch sparge Hop additions ready to go

Got my rhizomes from Fresh Hops...pic

Went with the jumbo Cascade rhizomes because I kill everything I try to grow. I thought I could use all the help I could get. Also, I just have room for a couple plants, if I was ordering 10 rhizomes like some people I wouldn't spend the extra cash. Ordered on Monday and they came this...

    Amazing...

This whole beer brewing thing is amazing. I’m sitting here drinking a pint of beer, I made, and feeling sad because SWMBO and I are going out to dinner tonight and I know the restaurant won’t have beer as good as this. My first batch was ok but not that great, so I was a little dismayed...

    CO2 regulator question

I'm thinking about starting to keg my beers and I have an old CO2 regulator in my shop. The tank has two gauges but the one gauge for the outlet pressure doesn't go low enough. Is it possible to replace that gauge with one that has better resolution at lower pressures?

Does my label seem too busy?

This is my first label for my first beer. The label seems a little busy to me. What do you think? I decided to use these hanging label because they come off easy, are reusable and still look nice.

    New brewer from Indiana

Hello everyone, I've been lurking here for a few months and have learned a lot in that short time. I figured it was about time to show my support for the site by updating my membership and introduce myself. I tried brewing once about a year ago with a Mr. Beer kit and made the worst excuse...
