This just happened to me. The liquid leaked out, soaked into the pouch the vial was in. Zero liquid in the vial, yeast caked to one side of the vial. Since I was planning on brewing the next day, i made a starter. I poured a little wort in the vial and shook like crazy to get the yeast loosened...

I have the same model, bought on eBay a while back for about the same price. Works great! I had many problems with my old wing cappers. No issues so far with it. I have it bolted to the top of my bottling table.

We usually end up listening to lucero or jimmy eat world or maybe some bad religion. I just bought tickets to see Lucero play at Bells Brewery in a couple weeks.

I've actually had two dreams (nightmares) about breaking my hydrometer, but it hasn't happened yet!

Sweet. I just thought of this...silhouettes of two bears frolicking in a pile or field of hops. I'd like to have some hops cones in there somehow.

Today I did some work at an old farmhouse.....in the dining room I noticed that all of the woodwork (Window and door trim, baseboards) was embossed with what looks like hops vines. Pretty cool.
