Running a heater in my fridge

So I have a fridge that I keep a keg in, in my garage. I have a temperature regulator that runs power to a small space heater to keep it above freezing in the winter. Now what I've done in the past is just drilled a hole in the side, ran my thermometer and power cord through that, and sealed it...

    Storing kegs

I have have a keg full of beer that hasn't been tapped, is it ok to store it outside of a fridge until I need to tap it, or does it need to stay cool?

    Cleaning a tap

I have a home made guinness kegerator in my garage. I just swap shells at the place I buy beer. My question is, do I need to clean the actual tap, spout and hoses? If so, how often should I, and how do I go about that?

    Will a pressurized keg freeze

Alright everyone, thanks for your help. I did end up just going the lazy route and running a cord to my temperature controller. It's a good thing I got it, when I went to put it in last night, there were a couple beers in there a couple nights ago as my "test" beers and they did explode. Here's...

    Will a pressurized keg freeze

Wouldn't be a tough rewire, probably easier than doing your cords :).

    Will a pressurized keg freeze

Nope, I did research on it and saw that. I can handle that simple of a wiring. I just redid all of my outlets, and I think I'll probably just wire that to an outlet, not do cords coming out of it. Also, my cousin is an electrician, so worst case scenario, he'll help me and I'll give him some...

    Will a pressurized keg freeze

passedpawn, I think I'm going to run your setup. I just have one last question for you. Where does the sensor for the controller site? Is it a cord that I could run into my fridge so I don't have to have the controller in the actual fridge? I don't want to try and heat the whole garage!

    Keep a fridge from freezing

I'm thinking of running a heater just on a temperature controller. I'll leave the fridge as is, as it works fine when it gets too warm, I'll just make sure the heater is set below what the fridge is at.

    Will a pressurized keg freeze

The fridge is in a garage, it still get's cold enough to freeze. Passedpawn, what's your setup?

    Keep a fridge from freezing

I have a fridge in my garage that I'm converting to a kegerator. However, my garage is detached and will get cold enough to freeze. Anyone know of a good product I can use to keep my fridge above freezing?

    Will a pressurized keg freeze

Any ideas on what type of light or heater I could get for that? Something that has some sort of temperature control I assume?

    Will a pressurized keg freeze

I want to put a kegerator in my garage. However, I'm afraid the beer will freeze (it's winter where I live right now). I've had crappy canned beer freeze on me in the fridge I want to use from time to time. I was just wondering if the fact that the beer would be under constant pressure would...
