    Hi I did a 10 litre brew with about 1.5kg MO 150g carapils and 125g caramalt I then added 5g centennial @ 60 5g centennial @ 30 5g centennial @15 5g centennial @ 5 Im not sure I worked out the hops correctly I think I should have put more in?? Any help

    It is possible some liquid got sucked back as i had moved the fermenter, i going to stick them in my cupboard from now on, and just tasted it and its not bad still got the hoppy taste to it, so I bottled from deep and left the last couple of litres and chucked it. Fingers crossed

    brand new bucket, washed and sprayed with Starsan, but yeah think i need to move the FV into the dark cupboard, got to be better there hasn't it

    i hadn't planned therefore not added any bugs into it on purpose. Cant understand how it happened, my thought is that i opened for a peak too many times and this one was kept in a large downstairs toilet where the wife had turned the dryer on!! Do you think this could be the cause

    Potassium metabisulfite is this cleaner/sterilser and is pectalose the same as pectic enzyme?

    Where to brew??

    i dont have much spare space in my home, i have a large downstairs toilet which is where it is going to have to go..it does get slightly cooler in there but not cold but was thinking that i could maybe wrap some insulation around the fermenting bucket, to help keep it consistent

    thanks....i understand the mesh bag/ piece of muslin..would i stone the peaches chop them up and bit add them to the bag put this into the fermenting bucket add boiling water??? is that the way to go

    Demijohn looks to be about 4.5 litres, would i be best to stick to either raisins OR raspberries/blackberries?? or could they all combine?
