    White cake-y stuff

K, just tasted it. It has a slight sour after taste, but not bad. Going to bottle it. And see how it turns out.

    White cake-y stuff

Kit is a brewers mist "Draft". I know really specific eh? Not much choice in the 7 litre category. It spent about two weeks in the primary and it has been two weeks in the carbouy. Temperature is not controlled, but it has been pretty cool the last month and this is the coolest room in the...

    How long in the primary

Primary not fermenter. It has been under the airlock from the start. At the cottage it is too easy for ants and bugs to potentially find it.

    How long in the primary

http://www.winekitz.com/products/specialty/country-mist. Making one of these. Mostly as summer time spritzer a for the ladies. I have not cracked open the fermenter, so under air lock and haven't checked the sg, but it is not active.

    How long in the primary

I am making a batch of wine at my cottage(because the water is awesome), but I won't have time to clarify and stabilize this weekend and it has been in the primary for 14 days. Should I rack it to leave until next week end or leave it in the primary? Thanks in advance.

    Newby

I have never made mead. Is there a basic guide or steps you follow? There seem to recipes, but the actually steps are lost to me. Also, does anyone commercially make mead. I would love to taste it; however, all the recipes sounds so good I might as well try it.

    Cloudy Pilsner

I am leaving for vacation for 10 days this week. My Bly choice may be to rack it and leave it. Do you think it will be ok until I get back?

    Priming sugar

Awesome. Thanks guys. I knew there was a more scientific method. I am starting to hate my beers kit store, they just try and make everything easy, not right. Anyway, I guess I have been lucky, as this is my 3rd batch and no bombs. However my Altbier will go in the bottles with the proper amount...
