    BYO Recipe

    Used the most basic recipe from BYO calling for DME and one kind of pellet hops. I made a 2.5 gallon batch using 2lbs pilsen extra dry malt extract and 2oz of tettnanger hops. used 1oz of hops for 60 min boil and 1oz at 5min left for flavor and aroam. Any idea on how this would taste? If you...

    Ale yeast used for Pilsner

    I used a S-04 ale yeast for a very basic/simple recipe. It only consists of Pilsen light dry malt extract and Tettnanger hops. I used the ale yeast but was wondering if i can turn this in to a lager type/style brew by fermenting in lower temps. Any ideas?
