Is it a Mr Beer fermentor?

I once had a Pliney clone take a week, with a huge starter of San Diego super strain. It came out amazing.

It's not untypical for beer to ferment quickly the first couple days and then go in to a less obvious fermentation phase. The best way to check for active fermentation it to take a gravity gravity reading for ~ 3 consecutive days.

As @Foosier said, you'll be fine. I would rely more on a gravity reading than apparent volume.

How low is it?

I've used HDPE cut to size hundred of times. Then attach all of the components or DIN rail with #8 pan-head screws. Just run them right in with a drill.
