    Refrigeration

Will the beer start to mature again if refrigerated then after a couple of day left at room temperature again?

    Refrigeration

Will beer become skunky if in the bottles too long before refrigeration?

    Temp

Also I keep the fermenter right next to the AC vent. I may just put it directly on it.

    Temp

The thermometer on the side of the bucket is reading 68* and I used Wyeast Irish Ale.

    Temp

Is 68* to high for fermenting an oatmeal stout?

    Vanilla

I've heard a lot of people say the same thing that you are saying about a secondary, why do you not prefer using them?

    Vanilla

If I put 1oz of pure vanilla extract in my secondary how long should I let it sit? 3 weeks primary 1 week secondary? This is only my second batch so I'm still really new to all of this so any advice is appreciated.

    Vanilla

I just made a batch of oatmeal stout last night and though it might be good to add a hint of vanilla. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

    Taste

Thanks for telling me that I was getting worried. It was an amber ale, it was in the primary for 7 days and the secondary for 14 days. I'm guessing I should let it carbonate for three weeks before drinking one.

    Taste

Just finished bottling my very first batch of beer. I had a around half of a bottle left over so instead of capping it I decided to taste it and needless to say it wasn't the best beer I've ever tasted. Is this any indication of how the final product will taste?

    Priming sugar

It's an amber ale at around 4.3%-4.5%. It's been in the secondary for 3 weeks.

    Priming sugar

Yeah I read two cups too but this is my very first batch so I'm open to suggestion. I'll try 16oz and see how it goes. How long do you keep your beer bottled before drinking it, 3 or 4 weeks?

    Priming sugar

    Thanks

    Priming sugar

Have an extract kit from Midwest and was wondering if I need to dissolve the priming sugar in water first or can just put it in the bottom of the bottling bucket to dissolve in the beer when siphoning.

    Turning the bottle up

I am about to bottle my very first batch of beer and I have read that when it's time to drink the beer it is to be poured into a glass so that bottom of the beer in the bottle doesn't end up being consumed. Is this true or can the beer be consumed straight out of the bottle?
