Wrap or drape wet towels on the carboys. It'll bring the temp down a couple degrees. Fan helps too but will dry the towel out fast.

You can also check on their website. Go to the "BREWPUB" link and there's a "Tap List" they update nearly everyday. It'll tell you on the top of the page what they have in packaged beers. 6 packs, bombers and on tap that day.

Thanks Sleepyemt.... I'm gonna give this a try in a few weeks. If it's close that's all good with me! Love to brew it sooner but the beer schedule is set for the next few brews. I will chime back in when I get to taste it and post my thoughts.

Time to resurect this ...When I picked up a sixer yesterday of Hopslam it reminded me of this recipe thread. So what's the consensus on this recipe ? Whats the best version of this recipe? Of those that have brewed this, did you brew it again? What was your recipe? Would you brew it that way...

I've made this 4 times and have used S-04 three times and 1056 once. I will always use the S-04 on this recipe. I liked it much better. I used 2 packets for 5.5 gallons and it finishes on or very nearly the same all three times.

I've brewed the extract version 3 times and all grain once. The all grain was the best. It received 2nd place at my brew club last month. The all grain was dead on with hop flavor. Color was the best out of all the batches. Extract brews were darker. Which is to be expected. I bought 4 cases of...

Skeezer.... just wondering why so long on primary? I've made this 4 times now. 1st all grain attempt is in the fermenter right now since last Sunday. My previous batches have been done in primary in 4-6 days. Using 2 pkgs of S-04. I haven't had the chance to pull a gravity reading on this batch...

After further review from my brew day I was not at the same volume. Post boil came out 3/4 gal more than previous batch. Is that the reason then? I'm still getting things ironed out. I've only got 6 brews under my belt.

I have one batch, my first attempt at this recipe, to bottle tonight. Another that I racked and dry hopped to secondary yesterday and it smelled and tasted great. I've got 6 brews under my belt and two of them are "Zombie" so I sure hope these finish out as good as they've tasted so far.
