Building my mash tun...What am I missing?

Look for a shank to fill the space between the cooler walls. That should help. Google cooler mash tun kits and you will get some good ideas. I did not have to cut my screen. Its a good tight fit, but it does fit.

Show us your Mead in a photo!!!

The vanilla bean in the bottle is just an attempt to do something with the bean from the fermentor. By the way this vanilla bitter orange mead was amazing and no it has not been filtered. Just cold crashed, racked, cold crashed again then bottled. This simple process has been very successful for...

    Rogue and there customer service.

It took me a few minutes to figure out "the man in brown will visit soon". But it was a good play on words.

    Rogue and there customer service.

Recently I purchased a growler of Dead Guy Ale from a local store here in NH. To my dismay when I got home to open it, it was flat. Not a single bubble. But being who I am and I'm sure a few of you would to, I still drank it. well most of it. I decided I would let Rogue know through there...

Where's the video of the guy who sanitizes inside his gloves?

That would be a great new DIY, StarSan misting station. I think he has garggled to much StarSan in his time.

Thanks a lot guys, I think I might actually be dumber after watching some of that crap. This idiot gives all homebrewers a bad name.

    My awesome SWMBO.

One more thing. It did not come with Pacman Yeast. Any suggestions on a substitute. I can run to my LHBS after work if anyone has some advice. Thank you all.

    My awesome SWMBO.

So SWMBO just got back from a trip to her home town. Which happens to be in Oregon. And I got the best present. A 5 gal. home kit of Dead Guy Ale stright from Rogue. I must say I'm a little jealous I did not get to do the tour. But bringing home a kit is a good way to make up for it. Looks...

    Pasteurizing and Adding Honey

Check out the Mead forum. Great info about honey. It rarely needs any pasturization. And by not heating it you save a lot of the flavor.
