Holy cow! How did you get it in the basement? Very impressive. My stuff in is in the crawl space, minus the burners and pots. My wife actually told me to finish my all grain system so I can brew outside. She HATES the smell of brewing but weirdly really wants to open a brewery too.

My LHBS has over 200 grain and roasted malt was sitting next to black patent. It's kind of impressive all of the options. I could add in some black patent but the rating on the roasted is 300.

So I am going to brew my first all grain Stout and need some help. I can't seem to find where to base my total grain bill pound total. I think I have my percentages but don't know where to start for my 5 gal recipe Pale malt - 60% Roasted Malt - 10% Chocolate Malt - 10% Crystal 60 Malt...

So I have 6 of the 5 gallon ball lock kegs. I decided a while back to get a 2.5 gal but it was a pin lock. I bought the conversion kit but the new ball locks won't stay sealed. Does anyone else experience this? I might just get pin lock attachments since this is a pain!

Hello! So I have been kegging my beer for a few years but have yet to place taps on it. Need help as I don't know where to place them. There will be three taps and a 10" drip tray. I want them as high as possible but still be able to access the pints in the freezer above. Thanks!

I had so much fun. From designing my recipe, milling the grain, making a yeast starter, and looking all crazy with my system. I'm not sure how it will taste as I messed up on some calculations. But in the end it was fun. Almost done cleaning up. Best yet, my wife isn't pissed...

I kept on pushing!

I missed some of my mash temps. Maybe next time I shouldn't brew when it's 45 degrees outside. Maybe a little warmer.

First all grain brew. Took a while to get here but it's fun so far. Have a small leak inside HLT at one of the HERMS compression. Not working today, just want to brew.

Well I used both the cut piece of silicon, much larger then the red silicon gasket, the red gasket and the locknut. No leaks! Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Thanks guys. Thank you Bobby. I had no idea to remove the metal O ring.

The walks are 2 inches thick. I bought a square piece of silicon today at a local hardware to try cutting a larger OD piece.

Help please! I made a Mash Tun in my cooler. So far, this is my only leak I can't fix. The leak is bad enough I just can't brew.
