    Dark chocolate malt

There's no "chocolate" in dark chocolate malt, right? Just wanna make sure because I want to make spent grain dog biscuits and dogs can't have chocolate. Anyone?

    Bottle crates

Hi, Does anyone know where I can find plastic bottle crates that will hold 1/2 liter and full liter flip-top bottles? Something like what you would find in a German beer store if you bought a case of half liters. Thanks!

    Maybe a stupid question...

I'm only seven batches into the beginning of my brewing life and I tried putting together an American Pale Ale yesterday. I used the following: 2.71 lbs. of American 2-row 2.74 lbs of American 6-row 0.35 lbs. of American 60L 4 lbs. Pale Liquid - Alexander's 0.6 oz. Magnum (at 60 min.) 0.5...

    Partial Mash

    Bottling question

Hi, I brewed a batch of stout last Saturday. The fermentation took a little over 24 hours to start. Today, seven days later, it's still slightly bubbling (very slowly). I was planning on bottling tomorrow but I'm not sure if it'll be ready. If I take a hydrometer reading tomorrow and it's...

    Steeping grains

Hi all, If I'm brewing a stout and it got close to 180, very briefly, is it ruined? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

    priming sugar question

Hi all, I'm new to this world of home brewing and had a general question about a step I skipped on bottling day. Perhaps someone can shed some light on what the likely implications will be. Last Friday I bottled my third batch, an American IPA. I boiled two cups of water, stirred in the...
