Has anyone made a yeast starter in an Instant Pot? I was thinking that I could run the pressure high cycle for 10 minutes to sterilize and then pressure cook the starter wort for 5 or 10 minutes, let it cool to pitching temp, pitch yeast and cover with sterilized foil. What do you guys think?

Has anyone used homegrown hops in a Randall? If so, can you use fresh hops or do you need to dry them first? I'm looking for any helpful tips or suggestions.

I have them set up on an automatic daily timer & soaker hose. Additionally, I soak them with water 3-4 days a week in the mornings. I use Miracle Grow every week. I don't think they are burnt because the outer leaves are clearly missing, which is hard to see in the photo.

Thanks to all for the input. I plan to make an all Citra recipe with a German Lager yeast at lager temperatures and make the same recipe with an ale yeast at ale temperature to compare the two.
