    WilliamsWarn Brewing system

Anyone seen one of these or tasted it's "perfect" beer in just 7 days?

    Weird Primary

9th batch is the weirdest yet. No action in primary until about 60 hours in (WL001 no starter OG 1.050). Once started, the fermentation was pretty lazy. I checked it on day 8 and it looked about done, still some bubbles in airlock but very slow movement in liquid. I went to rack it this...

    From secondary to keg

I need to siphon from secondary to keg but want to filter out the hop junk. I have been running it through a strainer and into the corny but I am worried about oxidation as the strainer sits on the top of the keg. I get alot of foam. Anything to worry about?

    Bottling the rest

I have discovered that I can brew 5 1/2 gallons with my setup. I generally let it sit in primary for 8-10 days and then rack the beer into a secondary for dry hopping. After 2 weeks in the secondary I keg 5 gal and would like to bottle the rest (64 oz) in two 32 oz bottles. Do I add priming...

    Growler question

I have decided to start brewing in 6.5 gallon batches and my plan is to keg 5 gallons and use six 32 oz growlers for the remaining 1.5 gallons. 1. Are growlers suitable for this? 2. If yes to number 1, do I add a pinch of priming sugar?

    Brewing in Minnesota

I guess I should have started here.... I have 6 batches under my belt and 3 have been drinkable and 2 have been exceptional. I fricking love this hobby! I am already messing with grain bills and color and trying to craft the perfect ale. Should have done this 10 years ago!

    Corny Keg leaking

I kegged a batch on Wednesday and gave it a shot of co2 15psi....I did not keep it under gas. I checked it the next day and it took some more gas. I forgot about it until Sunday and it took alot of gas so I am guessing a leak. I replaced the gaskets but I fear my brew is ruined. Any thoughts?

    Lessons in AG brewing

I have been brewing for 3 months. I never had the desire to brew from extract and jumped right in to all-grain. I wanted to brew something like Celebration ale, Titan IPA or Lagunitas Red and figured extract was not an option. My first batch was an AG kit. 10 pounds of grain for a 5 gallon...
