    I brewed a NEIPA on Monday 4/2/18. SG of 1.060 and I pitched a starter with WLP066 London Fog. Fermentation was nice and steady when I checked it Tuesday morning.     Fermentation Chamber

    I'm finally going to "build" a fermentation chamber. I'm thinking a chest freezer or old fridge with a temperature controller. What would you recommend for a heating element? Temperature controller? Building this is a whole new world for me, I could use any/all help you can give me!

    Hard to read hydrometer

    Ok this could be a dumb question. When I use a beer thief to draw a sample, I can't read my hydrometer because of the foam from the star-san. Can I rinse the thief after I sanitize it to get rid of the foam?
