    carb bottles with FAJC

    I have 5 gallons of cider almost ready to bottle AND want to carb in the bottle. I was going to add FAJC to the bottling bucket for sugars. Is one 12 oz can enough? I want it to be pretty bubbly but don't want things exploding either. I have read some use 1 can and others 2 cans..... Thanks

    Water in boil questions...

    I have been doing extract kits with specialty grains and adding my own hop combo to my liking. Beers come out pretty good. 4 batches now. All the recipes seem to call for a 2.5 or 3 gallon boil. Can i start my boil with 5 or 5.5 gallons? What will this effect (negative effects)? I have...

    What fermenter?

    One obviously pricier than the other. I always have beer fermenting so it will be used as often as possible. Spend the extra money for the stainless and probably have it forever, or go for the plastic, which basically does exactly the same thing for half the price...

    2 gallon brew, how much yeast

    I am going to do a 2 gallon batch of hefeweizen. i have wlp300, how much should i use out of the package? This is my second batch of homebrew to date and i am doing an extract brew. Is there a good site to calculate how much yeast to use for gallons? Thanks
