    Pumpkin Ale.

    Tried brewing a pumpkin ale, previously did a porter, neither really lended a pumpkin flair... The last batch (the ale) I used 2 large cans of pumpkin puree baked in the oven in the mash (10 G batch). WORST brewday EVER!     Boil Kettle hopps.

    Just wondered what others with similar equipment are doing to eliminate hops, cold / hot break etc from leaving the boil kettle. Using keggles, chugger pumps, and a plate chiller. Last addition was the trub buster.. a SS mesh filter on the pickup tube. It seems anything more than a couple ounces...

    Pretty new to this, lovin it

    Hey peeps. only 2nd brew day on my new rig. Using Beersmith2. Did a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Clone... had no clue what my efficiency would be. followed the recipe as it was.
