    RIS kit gravity

Hi, took a couple years off brewing extract. Now starting again with a Russian Imperial Stout. Have a couple questions if you don't mind... OG is supposed to be around 1.092. Mine was 1.082. New extract brewer summer temps

    Best way to cool wort?

Was wondering what other options there are to cool wort. I've done ice baths but that takes forever. I'm using an immersion wort chiller for the first time. But have been sitting here for 40 minutes and it's just now under 90F. What else can I do? Sent from my iPad using Home Brew

    First time carboy clean/Prep

Hello. Doing my second brew kit. A Belgian Blonde. My first time using a glass carboy. I've washed and now sanitizing using starsan. Do I need to soak the entire inside? And when I empty it out do I need to get rid of most of the bubbles? I know it's not supposed to add any flavor but need to...

    Will chest freezer...

Doing my first brew and realize now how much air temperature fluctuates during the day. I have a chest freezer I can use as a temp controlled fermenter, my question is after the summer when I no longer need to use it, will the unit be capable of freezing again? I know I'll need to defrost the...
