    What I did for beer today

    kicked on the kegerator so i can start chilling down the 10.5 % RIS ive been keg conditioning for 4 months. Hopefully when i tap it in 2 weeks ill only have to deal with 1 very yeasty pint.

    What are your personal experiences with naturally carbing in the keg

    so how does this differ from say a bottle conditioned beer. Does it not achieve the characteristics of a "bottle conditioned beer"? or is it just like you say the extra time that improves the flavor not necceserally the second fermentation that takes place?

    Title says it all im just curious what your experience is. Do you feel that it adds anything to the beer over force carbing? I currently have a 10.5 RIS thats been aging for 4 months i primed in the keg. I plan to tap it in exactly 2 weeks.

    you could always frame up a box around it drill the bottom plates into your porch and use plywood for the siding.

    Winter Warmers: What Have You Got?

    I have a 10.5 ris that i plan to tap on the 21st of next month. It will only have been aging 4 months by then. Im hoping its tasting good by then, i didnt plan accordingly and its taking up my only keg. Im sure it will still warm me up a good bit tho :D

    and that time frame is considering the time spent thawing in the fridge? I still plan on placing it in my ferm chamber to avoid having to change the water.
