    PSI in "stored keg" drops

One question does come to mind... knowing that the PSI can and will drop to say 5 PSI after an initial bump to 20 PSI... Will the keg ever drop to 0 PSI if there are no leaks or just stay at a positive pressure?

    PSI in "stored keg" drops

It turns out that when I do hook up a keg to the CO2 it only takes me at most 5 days at 20 PSI and then it is good to drink. After that initial 5 days I either lower the PSI when I go to drink so it doesn't flow so fast and when done either bump it to 10PSI or back to 20PSI. Either way works...

    PSI in "stored keg" drops

I have a few kegs but only able to keep 2 in my refer at a time. So I racked over 3 kegs and pressurized the extra keg, blead it out of oxygen, bumped the psi to roughly 20 and set it aside. I checked it the other day and noticed that yes there was still a positive pressure inside the keg but...

Beer bottles with mold in them... can they be cleaned???

I just got a bunch of bottles from a buddy however they never washed them out when done and now they have mold in them. Can they be cleaned enough to be used for bottling beer and if so what is the best way to re-condition the bottles for use??? Thanks!!

How long can you keep your beer fermenting?

I was only thinking of having in a fermenter bucket or keg for no longer then say 2 months. I doubt even that long... my friends get might thirsty! :) So for say 2 months that should not be a problem be it either fermenter or keg at room temp. Of course the keg would be pressurized with CO2...

How long can you keep your beer fermenting?

Basically what I am looking for is how long can you keep beer in a fermenter be it a glass carboy or a plastic bucket with out it going bad? I have 3 corny kegs but only enough room for 2 in the refer. Would it last best if I racked from the fermenter to a corny keg and pressurized with CO2...

Big screw up or not? Need help!!

Quick question... being that the wart has been sitting for 2 days or so do I need to mix it up or anything prior to adding yeast to aerate it? Would it be ok just to open the top and pitch the yeat without shaking it? Would it be best to reboil, clean fermenter, disinfect fermenter? Definetly...

Big screw up or not? Need help!!

I have had a air gap bubbler on it since I put it in the bucket so I don't think it should be infected at all. I will sterilize everyting like the bubble and any equipment and my hands prior to pithing yeast. So I feel better then and hopefully all will be good.

Big screw up or not? Need help!!

I brewed 10 gallons on Sunday... today is Tuesday. I put 5 gallons of wort in one ferment bucket and the other 5 gallons of wort in the second ferment bucket. My screw up was I think I put two different kinds of yeast in one bucket. The Wyeast British Ale 1098 and a Dennys special 1450...
