    Apfelwein carbed itself in kegs

I have been a very lazy brewer and let my Apfelwein fall to the wayside. I brewed a 15 gallon batch last summer and kegged it in August of last year. It had been in the primary for about 4 months. I did not take any hydrometer readings when I kegged it. I put the first keg into the kegerator...

    20LB Co2 Trade for??

I have 2 20LB co2 tanks. They both need to be re-certified. I would like to trade for ball lock cornies. But, I'm open to other trades as well. Thanks!

Help identifying keg. Is it worth using?

It looks like a Hoff-Stevens with a converted sanke fitting. There is a step by step pictorial some where on this site on how to remove the sanke diptube.

Anyone use a Chef Williams Cajun Injector Fryer?

^^Yeah I injected some of the marinade that came with the fryer in some drumsticks last night. Damn good! I happened to have an empty pony keg around and it seems to be a little wobbly on the burner. I may have to use the grill grate trick I've read on here before for a keggle. Or, I may...

How many gallons of EdWort's Apfelwein have been made?

    15 gallons in the sanke fermenter!!! 13360.5 + 15 = 13375.5

Anyone use a Chef Williams Cajun Injector Fryer?

I just picked up this turkey fryer at a yard sale for $15:rockin: The box looked pretty old but the stuff inside had never been used (not even put together). Anybody out there use one of these? Do you think it looks sturdy enough for a keggle? Here is a link to one that is similar, but...

    yeast washing question *PIC*

I recently washed the yeast from my Thunderstruck Pumpkin Ale. It looked similar to yours (lots of loose pumpkin). I decided to go ahead and pitch it in my Founders Breakfast Stout Clone. It took about 30 hours before I saw any airlock action, but now it's bubbling right along. Of course...

    Founders Oatmeal Chocolate/coffee stout..

I couldn't find Cocoa nibs anywhere. I bought semi-sweet bakers chocolate and unsweetened bakers chocolate. Does anyone see a problem with substituting the unsweetened bakers chocolate for the nibs?

    Blueberry Base...

I would like to find a nice Sweetwater Blue clone recipe. It's by far the best Blueberry ale I have had.

Autumn Seasonal Beer Thunderstruck Pumpkin Ale (AG and Extract versions)

I've had a batch in the primary for about 5 weeks. I still haven't added the spice tea. Should I rack it to a secondary and add the spice tea. Or, should I just add the spice tea to the bottling bucket with the priming sugar and bottle it? I am going to let it age until October anyway.

    Tennessee Craigslist Deal

I found this on CL. It's not mine. Seems like a great deal. I just don't need any of it.:mug: http://knoxville.craigslist.org/wan/1211796024.html

Is this corroded used Jockey box worth it?

^^Yeah, I know. Plus, when I got it home and saw the faucet was a perlick, I was extremely happy. I will definitely be switching my kegerator and jockey box faucets.

Is this corroded used Jockey box worth it?

I bought it. I got: -- a dirty jockey box with a PERLICK faucet and miller lite tap handle --a half-full 20lb aluminum co2 tank --a 15.5 gallon sanke --a perlick sanke coupler --a crappy regulator --some old craftsman pliers that were left inside the jockey box All for $85.

Is this corroded used Jockey box worth it?

^^^That sounds like it may be a good option. EDIT: I talked him down to $85. Even better :rockin:

Is this corroded used Jockey box worth it?

^^Cool! I think I will buy it. The guy just replied and said the 20 lb bottle is in good certification and partially full. That is an added bonus!

Is this corroded used Jockey box worth it?

^^That is kinda what I was thinking. My only concern is how nasty the inside of the plate chiller may be.

Is this corroded used Jockey box worth it?

Sorry. Forgot to put the price. He wants $100 for everything. Jockey box, keg, co2 tank, etc. I don't really need another co2 bottle or sanke (but I guess I could always sell or trade them) Also, the description says the cold plate is aluminum. Do they make aluminum cold plates?

I just saw this on craigslist. Is this Jockey box worth buying? It looks pretty nasty. What do you guys think? I hope this photo gallery link works. ImageShack© - Gallery
