Ran CO2 through liquid out while kegging

I left it for about 10 seconds and then turned it off and put it on the correct post and burped it several times. Does this matter at all? Thanks

    Northern Brewer Cornys

Just got 2. The posts are really on there tight. Anyone else buy these from Northern Brewer and have this problem? Any advice if this is standard, seems I may need to go buy deeper sockets...

    Priming a Keg

    thanks much, once again!

    Priming a Keg

I'm going to use sugar to carbonate a keg for the first time and had a few questions. I'm planning on doing 2.5 oz of sugar in a half cup of boiling water, then racking beer on top of this. Do I need more or less sugar/water? I was going to give it a blast of CO2 to make sure the keg is...

    Carbing Question

I think I may want to save up a bit and wait on the manifold for the future. Having a set up where I can run multiple kegs and control different pressures would be ideal for the future. I kind of like the idea of priming for the short term, I still have to go out and get a third keg. I...

    Carbing Question

I could fit one more, two more tops if I move my CO2 (10 lb) tank outside of the kegerator. The main issue is my regulator can only have two gas lines running from it at once. I suppose if I get another attachment I could run more.

    Carbing Question

I want to get a third keg but my regulator only can run two at once. I'm wondering if, assuming no leak in the keg, I could put 12 psi on a keg, detach the line and put it in my closet and it would carbonate that way. So far I've been setting my CO2 at 10 - 12 psi and just letting it...

    Adding Orange Zest while kegging?

I've always seen the tea ball and never even contemplated using it. Thanks for all the advice again!

    Adding Orange Zest while kegging?

Interesting. I may just add the zest tomorrow to my Secondary, thinking I'm going to have a keg free up very soon. Thanks for the advice.

    Adding Orange Zest while kegging?

Can I just zest, say 2 oranges for a 5 gallon batch, and throw it in the corny keg while kegging? I don't really see how this could damage the beer, just wondering how long it would be present/if at all. I'm brewing a honey orange hef BTW. Thanks!

    Wort Chiller in Boil?

First time using a wort chiller. Should I just put it IN the boil for 15 minutes before flame out to sterilize it? Thanks!

    Cleaning/Sanitizing MLT

I made a MLT out of a cooler and am about to attempt my first all grain. I've cleaned the cooler and have heard "pre-warming" the cooler is the way to go. Is it necessary/recommended to use sanitizer before hand as well? Thanks all!
