We just kegged an AIH Guinness clone (Gooder than Guinness) after just over 3 weeks in primary, and the result is a watery, brown ale - image attached. We are nearing 50 brews in and this is only the 3rd brew that has been disappointing. We missed OG by .06 and yeast got us to an ABV of 4.1%...

any updates on this brew you did?

Yes, two 5 gallon batches so far and going to throw another 5 in now. Used berries in the last one and both batches were emptied quick. Used us-05 on one and a cider yeast in the other; both were pretty tasty.

Followed the original recipe in early November, except swapped out hop to warrior and used some captain morgan rum as that's all I have here. Made on a robobrew system and ended up with a 7.2% brew. Just opened the first one after bottling two weeks ago, and although would benefit from a bit...

Same here - found that site but not a lot of updates so wasn't sure they were active. We'll look at joining. We are in New Albany and we have about 2 dozen brews under our belt so far. Would be up for some local homebrew trading too.

I purchased three all grain kits from them and they forgot to send one of the grain bills. they resent the missing one free of charge within 48 hours and just got it today. great customer service - will work with them again.

Its waiting for an open tap in the keezer and cold crashed for the last few days. Used Omega Kveik Hothead and it chewed thru it - will post with comparisons to original recipe results.

Just want to say I followed the original recipe and just finished the 1st keg of it - it was good enough we brewed another 5 gallons a week ago just switching out for Kveik yeast. Thanks for posting the original recipe - easy and a great beer.

Did you try the dry hop option? I just brewed this yesterday and its bubbling away but wondering if I'll need more orange or coriander flavor.

I have 5 corneys in mine but can only do 4 with plaato keg in there.

Just had my last bottle from 2015 and now brewing - has anyone made this or something similar?

My keezer is half built with this deal - fits 5 kegs and 5lb CO2 with a collar, or 4 kegs and CO2 without a collar.
